Dr. Madison Hulley
Dr Hulley was born and raised in Roodepoort. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery from the University of Pretoria in 2021. She is friendly, courteous, hardworking and strives to provide dental treatment to the best of her abilities to her patients. In her free time, Dr Hulley enjoys spending time with family, dancing, reading and writing.
Dr. Buhle Dlamini
Dr. Buhle Dlamini is a compassionate and dedicated dentist who graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2022. She has a strong passion in delivering exceptional care ensuring her patients are well educated. Her clinical passions lie in Paediatric dentistry, endodontics and surgical extractions. Outside of dentistry she enjoys staying active through gym workouts, outdoor activities and spending time with her loved ones.
Songezo Bidla, Practice Lead
Songezo Bidla is a driven and ambitious practice manager at our bustling Roodepoort dental practice, where she is dedicated to driving growth and unlocking the full potential of the business. Thriving in dynamic environments, she excels at leading teams with vision and purpose, fostering collaboration and innovation to achieve shared goals. Beyond the office, Songezo cherishes moments spent with friends, exploring new experiences, and finding balance through her faith and active involvement in her church community. Nyiko Letswala, Dental Assistant
Nyiko Letswela is a compassionate Dental Assistant with a foundation in both administration and clinical skills. Nyiko's journey in dental assisting included working at a private practice in Lenasia and Moroka Hospital in Thaba Nchu, where she gained valuable insights into community-focused dental care. A graduate of the Central University of Technology with a qualification in Dental Assisting, Nyiko is passionate about transforming patients' dental experiences by creating warm, calming environments. With a calm and empathetic demeanor, she prioritizes patient comfort and care, aiming to replace apprehension with confidence. In her free time, Nyiko enjoys reading and writing, which enrich her personal life and enhance her creativity and ability to connect with others. Thokozani Cebekhulu, Dental Assistant
Thokozani Sizwe Cebekhulu is a dedicated Dental Assistant at Toothworx Dentistry in Roodepoort. With a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a collaborative spirit, he thrives in a team environment. As a detail-oriented and efficient professional, Thokozani takes pride in his work and genuinely loves what he does. His experience extends to community dentistry, where he spent two impactful years in Pietermaritzburg, deepening his understanding of diverse patient needs. When he's not in the dental chair, you can find him unwinding with a game of pool. Thokozani qualified with a diploma in Dental Assisting from Durban University of Technology, laying the foundation for his career in this rewarding field.
Reatlegile Mmokwa, Administrative Lead
Reatlegile Mmokwa is a receptionist at ToothWorx Dentistry in Roodepoort, where she started working in August 2024. Prior to joining ToothWorx, she was part of an NPO called Afrika Tikkun, which placed her at the dental practice. Reatlegile completed her matric in 2021 and has also undergone call centre training, which has given her an edge in patient interfacing. She is eager to further her studies in the medical field, although she is still exploring her options. In her free time, Reatlegile enjoys reading and is always open to learning new things.
Nhlakanipho Dlamini, Administrative Intern
Nhlakanipho Luyanda Dlamini is a Receptionist intern with expertise in Microsoft Office and proficiency in troubleshooting and cloud computing, complemented by strong problem-solving abilities. Notably, he contributed to a successful IT project in his previous college, developing an application to support high school learners struggling with Mathematics. In 2023, Nhlakanipho achieved a distinction in IT Systems Support/Networking, driven by his passion for technology. His role as an Administrator has further fueled his enthusiasm for Information Technology, a field he finds both broad and rewarding. Outside of work, Nhlakanipho enjoys spending quality time with his family and engaging in strategic games like chess and pool, as well as reading books.
Dr. Venessa Mawelela
Doctor Patricia Venessa Mawelela, is a passionate and innovative dentist dedicated to changing the dentistry narrative. With a focus on revolutionizing treatment predictability, she brings modern dentistry techniques that ensure a premium patient experience and utmost comfort. While her profession demands precision akin to portrait art, Dr. Mawelela finds joy in the fluid creativity of abstract art, reflecting her multifaceted approach to both her profession and life.
Mpho Thathi, Dental Assistant
Mpho Thathi is a qualified Dental Assistant with a strong foundation in patient care and clinical support. She began her journey with Toothworx Dentistry in 2024 at the Roodepoort practice before progressing to her current role as Dental Assistant and Practice Lead at the Secunda branch. Mpho is highly skilled in chairside assistance, infection control, and the effective use of dental equipment and instruments. Her strong communication skills allow her to engage confidently with both patients and the dental team, creating a positive and professional environment. With her attention to detail, organizational ability, and problem-solving mindset, she ensures the smooth daily operation of the practice and adherence to regulations governing dental care. Beyond her professional role, Mpho has a passion for music, which reflects her creativity and well-rounded personality. She remains dedicated to growing within the dental field and contributing to high-quality patient experiences.
Rachel Sosibo, Administrative Lead
Rachel Sosibo, Administrative Lead (Secunda) Rachel Sosibo is a dedicated Receptionist at Toothworx Dentistry, bringing a rich background in administrative and healthcare fields to her role. With experience as a Supply Chain Administrator, she has honed skills in managing stock, tracking deliveries, processing orders, and maintaining seamless communication with suppliers and departments. Her professional toolkit includes a Project Management Skills Programme Certificate and expertise in End User Computing. As a Certified Caregiver with years of experience, Rachel is driven by a passion for healthcare and medical assistance, with a strong focus on patient care. She is known for her calm demeanor in fast-paced environments, exceptional customer engagement, and problem-solving abilities. A high-energy team player, Rachel thrives on delivering support that maximizes customer loyalty. When not prioritizing patients, she enjoys exploring beauty projects and learning to play the guitar. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Dental Therapy from the University of KwaZulu Natal. Vuyiswa Vinjwa, Acting Practice Lead
Vuyiswa Vinjwa is the Acting Operational Lead at Durban Toothworx Dentistry, where she leverages her extensive experience to drive excellence in patient care and practice operations. With roots in the Eastern Cape and raised in Durban, she brings over 10 years of expertise in delivering exceptional support and building strong customer/patient services across various sectors, including hospitality, retail, education, tourism, and dentistry. Vuyiswa oversees the Durban practice with dedication, ensuring efficient operations and a warm, welcoming environment for patients. Her passion for patient education and commitment to creating positive experiences shine through in her work. Outside of the office, Vuyiswa enjoys unwinding by watching movies and immersing herself in novels.
Nontobeko Khumalo, Dental Assistant

She graduated from the Durban University of Technology, where she honed her skills and knowledge in dental assisting. Outside of work, Nontobeko enjoys cheering on her favorite soccer team and spending quality time with loved ones. She's passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives, one smile at a time, and takes pride in providing personalized care to ensure every patient feels comfortable and confident in their dental appointments.
Nonkululeko Ncube, Practice Lead
With an N6 National Diploma Certificate in Business Management and practical experience at Toothworx, Nonku has fallen in love with the fast-paced world of dentistry. She is dedicated to providing exceptional service with a smile. She collaborates with our dentists, hygienists and assistants to ensure patients feel valued and supported throughout their visits. She is passionate about learning new things, growing both personally and professionally particularly in areas that enhance her skills to contribute to the succes of our practice. She believes in the power of positivity & kindness, and views each day as an opportunity to learn, grow and make a positive impact. When not at work she enjoys playing traditional Zulu music, going out for a walk or hanging with friends just to unwind and also being a helping hand in her community.
Wandile Buyiswa Dlamini, Dental Assistant
She holds a Higher Certificate in Dental Assisting from the Central University of Technology, obtained in 2019. With over five years of hands-on experience in the field, she has developed a strong foundation in both clinical and administrative aspects of dental care. Her passion lies in fostering meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues, while consistently delivering compassionate and high-quality care. She takes pride in maintaining a calm, supportive environment and have honed advanced clinical skills that contribute to efficient, patient-centered service. Outside of work, she enjoys listening to music and watching television, simple pleasures that help me recharge and stay balanced.
Dr. Craig Leolo
Dr Craig Leolo, a BDS graduate from Wits, is a passionate dentist who believes oral health education is at the heart of dental service. His love for dentistry stems from personal experiences with dental issues as a child, sparking a focus on preventative dentistry, especially for paediatric patients. He's interested in paedontics, aesthetics, and orthodontics. When he's not working, Dr Leolo enjoys live music.
Palesa Ecklton, Dental Assistant
Palesa is a dedicated dental assistant with a strong passion for transforming lives through oral health. She graduated from the Central University of Technology in Bloemfontein and has recently earned her BA in Forensic Science and Technology. Palesa's true calling lies in dentistry, where she finds joy in alleviating patients' oral concerns and restoring their confidence through radiant smiles. To her, dental assisting is more than a profession – it's a mission to educate and empower individuals about the importance of oral hygiene, driving meaningful change one smile at a time.
